The events search option allows a user to search Mirador by an event name. Hurricanes, storms, tornadoes, wind, storms, and air pollution are all considered events. If a user enters an event name during the search, Mirador will find all occurrences of that event within the location and the time span provided. If no location and time span are provided, Mirador will search its entire collection for occurrences of that event.
