The keyword search is meant to retrieve search results based on collection level attributes and parameters for the data. For example, a search for 'cloud reflectance' will return all the data products which contain the attribute or parameters of cloud reflectance. The keyword search is meant to narrow down your search results to the most relevant data products. A keyword can be anything ranging from a collection specific shortname to an atmospheric parameter. Some sample keyword searches are: 'air temperature', 'AIRI2CCF', '1KM', 'cloud top temperature', 'ozone', 'atmospheric stability', etc.
In the Keyword search field, you can enter OR, in upper case, to search for collections that contain either one keyword or another or both. (e. g. OMI OR AQUA, ML2O3 OR OMTO3) For these examples, either collections containing OMI or AQUA or both, or ML2O3 or OMTO3 or both will be returned.
To exclude keywords from your search, precede the keyword with a hiphen. For example, the search, MLS -Ozone, would return MLS collections that don't have the Ozone keyword in the collection level metadata.
These advanced search features only work in the keyword search box.
